This morning Dad and Mum Evans have decided to head home:( Dad is not feeling very well and is getting too worn out keeping up with us, so they decided to leave us and head back to Cairns at their own pace.
They all had hugs,kisses and lots of photo's........(this is the best one)
Crossing the Pascoe River.........
Our first stop was Chilli Beach - we can't find why it's called Chilli Beach, but we came up with a theory...... It's REALLY windy which equals chilly so therefore the name Chilli Beach..... Lol

A thong tree on the edge of the beach......... The southern end of this beach collects all sorts of rubbish which floats in from the Philippines and Vanuatu.
Shana found one and wrote her name on one and stuck it on the tree but I forgot to take a photo of it.......
From there we went onto Portland Roads - another beach on the other side of the point.
A prawn trawler which has 6 tenders tied onto it.........

We came across a big sinkhole while we were driving along a track. It was very deep - the photo doesn't really show the depth that well, but it is a lot deeper.
A sink hole...... And yes Mum they are standing right on the edge...... Lol
We came across a river (the Pascoe River but in a different section) crossing that has a rather hairy entry and exit; so the men had a bit of a walk through, to check out the river crossing, as well as the exit point on the other side of the river.

As it was heading towards night time we decided to camp on this side of the River and tackle the crossing in the morning, so we have the whole day in case something goes wrong. That meant that we had to return the way we came, which was also quite hairy!!!,
This got a sh@$ out of Michelle........
