Into the Northern Territory

We left our weekend spot (Seymour River) at just after nine, drove for a long time, eventually arriving at Camooweal just before lunch time.

Since when do kangaroo's have horns????? Camooweal kangaroo's do.....

Shana with the Kangaroo X Cow????
Yay they had phone range in Camooweal, so after making some phone calls and posting the blogs, we continued on our journey which took us past Barkly Homestead Roadhouse and onto our campsite for the night......

Yay!!!! The Northern Territory!!!!! That is state number FOUR!!!!!

WE (note that IM in the photo) crossed the border........

Now that's what I call a speed limit!!!!!!.......lol (closet rev head)

The country side in the first part of the Northern Territory was very bare.....more like what we expected the Nullabour to be like.....

Hundreds of hawks that were flying off as we drove in......

One of the hundreds of hawks that were hanging round the campsite......

A little willy wag tail that was pestering the falcon.......

A peregrine falcon that landed on a tree near our camp - mind you it took me about forty photo's to get one good one...... Lol he wouldn't sit still!!!!!

Our camp for the evening....... (Frewena rest stop)

And from the other side.......

Sun's nearly set......

Awesome pink sky..........

Beautiful evening colours..........

The sky put on a great show for us......

Good night everyone.........

That's all from us today......
Lots of love from the Barramundi's xxxx
