Fruit Bats, Elliot Twins, Cannibals, and NOLAN'S!!!!!!

We were packed up and on the road by 8:30;)
We're off to cross Cockatoo Creek, go see lots of water falls, and cross a LOT more creeks:) Fun Fun!!!

The Snatch Strap drying from yesterday's events......

Cockatoo Creek seen from our campsite......

The other way....

Awesome Moon reflection...

Walking the creek......

Crossing the creek.....

No they're not chatting - Brad is standing on the edge of a really big hole.....
From there we continued on to Fruit Bat falls, Elliot Falls and Twin Falls. All of these places are free from Crocodiles so it was a great opportunity to have a swim/freshen up - even though it was definitely not very warm:(

Fruit Bat Falls......

Kids (big and small) having a blast......

Savannah and Shana having a shower in the falls....

Kade and Aidyn exploring the top of the Falls......

Cameron, Savannah and Shana enjoying one of the deep pools in the top of the falls.....

Aidyn and Kade doing the same.......

Side view......

On to Elliot Falls......

The beautiful Elliot Falls.....

And more......

Kade at his best/dorkiest jump off the cliff edge (3 metre drop).....

Shana and Steve doing a Tandem jump.....

Twin Falls - just a short walk from Elliot Falls....

Beautiful place......

Water was slightly warmer then Fruit Bat Falls - but not much!!! BRRRR!!

Canal Creek.....A boys group jump.....(4 metre drop)

A Girls Group Jump......a flippin long way down!!!!!

Part of Canal creek.....

A Pitcher plant that was growing on the side of the track.....

Canal creek......

A VERY dodgy bridge that we had to drive over.... All logs etc that creak and groan a LOT!!!

Got the water Bra's on.....

This is why....... This is south Nolan's Brook....

That's me hanging out the side videoing.....
Shorty after, we come across this sign, which is nailed to a tree at the entrance into Nolan's Brook.... Very confidence inspiring!!!! Lol

Drumming up some business.....

Nolan's Brook.... Looks harmless right?

NOT!!! This guy just sunk:( car filling up with water..... He was prepared though - had a rope attached, ready to be towed, so he didn't have to open his doors....

This guy thought he'd try to cross with a trailer, but came unstuck because his camper floated and lifted up the back end of his car..... 10 cm of water inside his car;(

We decided to be safe and have a rope attached to someone on the other side.......

Even then we STILL got water inside - just not as much as others....

Brad and Michelle's turn.....

Both got safely across!! Very thankful and then we could all relax:)

We stayed on the side of the Jardine River......

The view from our tent.....

Snatch strap hanging up again......

Nearly packed up.....

That's all from us today.....
Lots of love the Barramundi's xx
